This Public Service Announcement is on ‘Seven Kingdoms: Princess Problem’ which is an upcoming otome game. Looking at the website, it seems like the game is very much like ‘Fire Emblem: Awakening’ and ‘Fire Emblem: Fates’. The world is on the brink of war. To foster peace, every seven years, seven diplomats from the seven nations visit a neutral islands to form diplomatic ties. You play one of those delegates, creating friendships, romances and ultimately striving to maintain peace for your kingdom.
Forging relationships is the only part of the game. You have to learn a number of skills, and make your way through a political minefield. Having had a look through the website, I’m incredibly impressed by the character designs, it’s one of the most diverse otome games I’ve seen. You can check out the character profiles over here, what’s even more amazing is that 3 of the female characters are romanceable! To top it all off, it looks like you can even customise your character.
What’s included in the demo:
- The first three weeks of the game
- Over 160,000 words of content
- Six unique backgrounds
- The ability to start 12 unique romances
- Meet and befriend over 22 characters
- 77 possible achievements
- Fanart Gallery
- 11 unlockable short scenes in POV of the romanceables
The game is set to be released by the end of this year. You can download the demo over here.
