Otome Games

Celebrating Indie Developers this February!

One of my blogging new year’s resolutions was to help support more Indie developers. Most of my game related blogging content is focused on mobile otome games from big commercial companies like Shall we Date or Voltage. While I enjoy these games, I’d also like to spread my wings and be more involved in the Otome community. As I’ve started connecting with Indie developers and looking at their games, I’ve grown to have a true appreciation for their craft and how much time and effort is put into each game. Since February is the month of love, I thought I would take this opportunity to show my love and support for Indie developers over the following weeks.

Each week I will write 2-3 reviews on either demos or full games that are done by Indie developers. The demos will be focused on games that are set to be released sometime this year. Full games will have been released sometime in the last month (so released in 2018). I will have maybe 1 or 2 posts this month that aren’t part of this  carnival, but ultimately the goal of the month is to show the amazing variety of Indie games that are out there. As I’ve explained in a previous post, I get really bad motion sickness, so all the games will be visual novels. While this blog is focused on otome and BxB, I will also try to step out of my comfort zone and feature some GxG and BxG games.

At the end of the month, I’ll make a post similar to this one with links to all the posts I’ve done. This of course doesn’t mean that this month will be the ONLY time I feature indie games. I’ll definitely be featuring them throughout the year, but I just wanted to celebrate them a bit more this month. I hope you all enjoy my posts that will be coming out over the next few weeks.

If you have any games that you would like me to review/ feature either comment below or send me an email kurosamareviews[@]gmail.com . Have a lovely February everyone~
