Cheritz, the legendary otome company behind Mystic Messenger has just announced a new mobile game! The game is called ‘The Ssum’ and will be available at the end of March 2018 for Android and Apple phones. The game promises to ‘revitalise your everyday life’ and melt away life’s stresses as you talk to your special ssum-one. The game will have 60 days worth of content including calls and chats. The website also hints that the game will be continuously updated with new content. Overall the game looks to have similar features to Mystic Messenger but have been built upon to create a more realistic feeling. You and the guy can call one another, and game looks to almost adapt to your sleep cycle? Which hopefully means no more 4am chats!
I’m definitely very excited to see this app when it is released. I did see one Twitter user comment that because it’s set to be released end of March, maybe it is an April Fool’s joke by Cheritz! Haha, that really freaked me out. I don’t think Cheritz would be that cruel to get everyone excited for a game for 2 weeks and then destroy those dreams! Besides what I’ve discussed above, Cheritz has not released any other information. I hope in the coming weeks we may see some character profiles or even some hints about the storyline!
To celebrate the release of the game, if you retweet the below tweet you can receive candy (not sure if real or an in-game feature?) and a special postcard from Cheritz! There will be 10 winners, announced on the 18 March. I know there’s so many retweets and you may think it’s impossible to win, but you gotta be in it to win it, so give it a shot!
